One of the best things about being a teacher is that I get to pretend like I'm a stay at home mom over the summer and have play dates with other friends. One of the fun things we did was go blueberry picking at Petals from the Past and peach picking at Mountain View Orchards, both in Chilton County.
Troy did pick about 20 blueberries. He tasted one but immediately spit it out. I left the blueberry basket in the stroller and I turned around and Kaylee was eating them. She loved them.
The peach farm was gorgeous. They took us out on a wagon to the peach trees and we picked a basket full. Troy did pick a few but had more fun carrying the basket while I picked them.
