Baby Shower for Kaylee
My sweet family and friends gave me a small shower/luncheon for Kaylee. It was so sweet and special. She was spoiled with lots of clothes for a baby girl. I can't wait to play dress up with her. She also got her very first baton.

Brian turns 35
Brian turned 35 this year! He spent the day helping me clean house (from the waist below was his responsibility, it is so hard for me to bend over now). He got to take a nap with Troy on his chest. Then, that night we celebrated with my mom and his parents. We had lasagna for dinner which is one of Brian's favorite meals and I made rice krispie treats for dessert. He would much rather have rice krispie treats than cake any day.
Update on Kaylee
I went to the doctor on Thursday, June 30 for my 31 week visit. Kaylee's heartbeat was 153. That is about where it has been every time I have gone. Dr. Ross measured me and said I'm measuring right on time. He thinks Kaylee is turned sideways right now, so hopefully she will turn in the next few weeks. It's hard to believe I am already 31 weeks! This pregnancy has flown by.
This weekend, we finished Kaylee's room. I love it. Brian did a great job. He painted the walls (fresh pink lemondade), all of the furniture (tint of off white), and picked out the bedding (Olivia by JoJo Designs). The furniture was actually my great grandmother's furniture and was passed down to my mom, then to me. It was my furniture in my room growing up. We do still need to hang stuff on the walls and get a stool for the vanity, but overall it looks great! He did a FANTASTIC job!

4th of July
We went to American Village to watch fireworks for the 4th of July. All afternoon, we debated about whether to go or not because there was a 100% chance of rain. I'm glad we went...it didn't rain a single drop while we were there. Troy will never be this age again and I wanted him to see the fireworks.
My mom went with us and while we were waiting on the fireworks to start, she got sweet cuddles from Troy.
Once the fireworks did start, Troy watched them. He didn't really have a reaction one way or the other, but he watched them the entire time.

Camping Weekend
We went camping the weekend of the 4th at Deerlick Creek in Tuscaloosa. Our campsite was a great location, very private. They also had a beach so we were able to spend time after lunch at the beach. The weather was perfect and it was nice to spend the days outside. When Troy took afternoon naps, we all took afternoon naps, which was very relaxing.
