Christmas Day

Christmas morning, we woke up about 6:45. The funny thing is that a toy from last year randomly went off and that is what woke us up (thank you Campos for that toy by the way, it does randomly go off at the strangest times).

We got Troy out of the bed and he walked into the living room. He was very curious and went and looked at the tree. Santa had laid most of the stuff out and Troy saw a food plate and immediately picked it up.

One of the traditions that Brian wants to do for our family is to read Luke 2 when we first wake up Christmas morning before we actually open gifts or look at our toys. So I held Troy as Brian read the story. Then we let Troy loose. He was very excited and went to the tree. Brian gave him his stocking and he had fun looking through it. Then, he saw his main gift, the little red car. It was a hit! He also discovered chocolate in his daddy's stocking.

My mom came over and the Troy opened his gifts and then we got ready and went to church.
