Christmas isn't Christmas unless you go to a parade. To start the Christmas season off, we took the kids to the Columbiana parade and tree lighting ceremony.
For the first time, we went to the boat parade on Lay Lake. The train was our favorite.
Another thing we did this year was ride the trolly. They were having a Holly Jolly Trolley ride - I thought it would be a trolley ride to look at Christmas lights - and it kind of was, but several houses had already turned off their lights for the night, and not every house was decorated. It was more of a historical tour of our small town and a tour of who lives where. Kaylee was pretty much asleep by the end of the tour. Still, it was a fun memory to do with the kids.
