Brian and I spent our 15th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas, Nevada. We left the kids for seven whole days (which was really probably too long). We had a great time. We walked up and down the strip and saw all the hotels and we toured Hoover Dam. We also drove to the Grand Canyon one day, and we went riding in a convertible around Red Rock Canyon with friends that were there the same time we were. We also saw two shows (La Reve and Michael Jackson One) and ate lots of food. On our actual anniversary, we had dinner at the Stratosphere, a rotating restaurant that overlooked the strip. The restaurant was on the 107th floor. We even squeezed in time for resting and relaxing. It truly was a great trip and a great anniversary.
My favorite part was probably the fountains at Bellagio, it was so much bigger than I imagined and every time they came on, they were beautiful. The volcano at The Mirage was pretty cool too. My favorite inside hotel was the Venetian. It was gorgeous inside, my favorite outside hotel was the New York, New York. I can't pick a favorite show, they were both awesome and so different from each other.
We brought the kids back two shirts each. This shirt was from the Grand Canyon and it had pieces the snapped to it. They thought it was really cool.
