Christmas program at church
Troy is in the Angel Choir at church during the Sunday School hour. The angel choir is for kids ages 3-5. Troy is probably the youngest one in the choir. We got a notice the first week of December that the choir would sing three songs at Christmas and each kid needed to pick how they wanted to dress, a cow, a donkey, an angel or a shepard. Troy immediately said cow. So, since it was right after Halloween, we went to Target and bought a cow costume for half off.
He adores his teacher, Ms. Tara. He loves her! She gave us a cd of the songs, so we listened to it all the time in the car. Troy and Kaylee would both sing in the car.
The afternoon of the performance, in his sweet voice, Troy told me that everyone else was going to be a shepard in the program, but he REALLY wanted to be a cow. It almost sounded like he was worried he would be the only one. I told him he could be a cow and he was happy.
The night of the performance, I was really worried that Kaylee would start singing too. Sometimes in the car, she would sing louder than Troy. The choir did a great job and you could tell that Troy was actually singing. He did a great job!
