Celebrating Troy

On Troy's actual birthday, I asked him what he wanted for breakfast and told him the day was all about him....I suggested pancakes because he loves pancakes. He wanted a pop tart...even after several of my suggestions. We asked him where he wanted to go for lunch after church, and of course he wanted cheese quesadilla, so we went to Zapopan, our favorite Mexican restaurant.

The servers came and sang to Troy, but he doesn't like to be the center of attention, so he acted shy.

That afternoon, we went to the neighborhood pool and Troy was brave enough to jump in to the pool without holding on to Brian.  Brian has been working on this for a while, and Troy got it Sunday night

After pool time, we came home and grilled out.  That night, I was the lucky one to be chosen to put Troy to bed.  I told him all about his "birth" day and how blessed we are to have in him our lives.  I can not believe it has been three years since we brought him into our family.  I am so thankful for this little miracle!
