Disney Day 1 - Magic Kingdom

Our Disney hotel reservation actually started on Sunday  We stayed at a cheap hotel Saturday night.  I won't talk about that hotel.  Let's just say that they have a very good website with beautiful pictures!  It really wasn't that bad.  The outside of it was sketchy, but the room was fine.

Because we drove all day Saturday, we were able to wake up early Sunday morning.  We went to the hotel first to check in (All Star Sports) and they would text us when our room was ready.  That way, we could be at the park when it opened and stay until our room was ready.  We wanted to get to the park early in time to watch the opening show.  It was wonderful!  It was so much fun to see Mickey and his friends ride up on the train and participate in the count down to open the park.

After we got into the park, we went left.  I had read to go left first.  I don't know why, but we did.  We rode jungle cruise and the Pirates ride.  Kaylee was not impressed with the pirates ride and tried to fight the tears.  I knew we had to find kid friendly rides fast, so we made our way to Fantasyland.  We were able to ride "It's a Small World", the carousel, watch the PhilharMagic show and the Monster's, Inc Laugh Floor.  Both of them loved It's a Small World and kept pointing to things.  We also rode the teacups, the cars, the Barnstormer kiddie coaster, the Astro Orbiter, and the Winnie the Pooh ride.   Sometime after lunch, our room was ready so we went to the hotel and then came back to use our fast passes.  We had fast passes for Buzz Lightyear, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs mine train and Peterpan's Flight.

That night, we had dinner at Chef Mickeys.
