The second day in the hospital, Troy had his circumcision that morning. We were told that he probably wouldn't eat for a while after that because it's so traumatic. It was getting hard to watch him not eat.
The photographer came to take pictures of Troy around lunch. Brian and I got to play dress up with our beautiful baby as we dressed him in his sweet coming home outfit that Brian picked out.

Visitors trickled in and out all day. Eric and Diane, Jaime and Chad, Mr. Sauers, Joni, Tina, the Dixons, the Spurgeons, Kathi, my mom and Brian's parents all got to see just how beautiful Troy was (yes, we are biased).
Fortunately, that afternoon, Troy did finally begin to eat, so I was beginning to feel better about that.
My favorite picture from Day 2.

The morning of the third day, it seemed like the nurses kept coming to get Troy as soon as another brought nurse him back. Every time he would leave, I would miss him so much. It's hard to believe how much you could miss someone you just met. They did his hearing test, the pediatrician checked him, it just seemed like there was always something going on that morning. While Troy was gone, it did give us a chance to pack and get ready to go home. He didn't eat well during the night, but it seemed like he was eating well during the day. We did have a few visitors that morning, Lisa and Joy got a quick visit with Troy.

Finally, it was time to be discharged. It's a strange feeling leaving the hopital with OUR baby.
