We have a friend who loaned us Dopplar so that we could hear the heartbeat when we wanted to. We've tried several times but haven't been able to find it, but we didn't panic because we had heard that it was hard to find early in the pregnancy.
Wednesday night, we tried again just out of curiousity. After about 10 minutes, we found it and it was loud and strong. We called both of our parents so that they could hear it too. It was so reasurring to be able to hear it.
I was supposed to have an ultrasound today at the pregnancy resource center but they had to cancel because the nurse was sick. I do have a doctor's appointment Tuesday though.
