Troy's Birthday

Because it was baseball season, we didn't get to have a "friend" party for Troy.  Either he was playng baseball or his friends were playing baseball.

The morning of Troy's birthday, we met Brian's family at IHOP for breakfast.  He got a fitness watch, baseball sunglasses, baseball mystery books, and a a first baseman's glove and a baseball net.  That afternoon we asked him what he wanted to do, and he wanted to go watch his friends play baseball, so we spent the afternoon at the ballpark.

The next weekend, we met my family for dinner after Troy's baseball tournament.  He got Connect Four, a slip and slide, and a handheld baseball and basketball game.

Words can't describe how thankful I am for this little boy.  Being the older child has a lot of responsibility and he does a good job at handling it.  He is sweet, caring, cautious and a very much a rule follower.  Oh, and have I mentioned that he loves baseball!?!  Happy birthday Troy.
