We actually got the kids Halloween costumes early this year. They decided pretty early that they wanted to be pirates (like Jake and Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) Fortunately, Halloween was on a Friday this year. The kids had Halloween party at school that day. When I picked them up, we met the Dixons in Columbiana for the Monster Mash. After that, we met Brian and other members of our small group in a subdivision to go trick or treating. Both of the kids were really into it this year - they understood if you walked to someone's door and said "trick or treat" they gave you candy.
