True Trojan Fans

We are true Trojan fans through and through. This has been a rough year and has been the year of "We almost won." We almost beat Mississippi State, we almost beat Western Kentucky, we almost beat FAU, and at the beginning of November, Brian and I went to Knoxville to watch the Trojans almost beat Tennessee. Usually, Brian goes on a boys trip to the big games, but I wanted to go to this one, so he and I made it a little getaway. It was the first time for us to leave the kids. The grandmas each took a child home and then switched the next day.

The game was so fun...I went into it knowing that we were going to lose, and the first quarter just confirmed that, we immediately went down by two touchdowns.  But then the Trojans made a game of it and was even winning with 4 minutes to go in the game.  We stood the entire 4 quarter.  It was nice to watch a game without trying to make sure the kids were entertained too.

After the game, we drove to Chattanooga and spent the night there.  We had great alone time and especially enjoyed sleeping all night.

This is a picture Jaime sent us on Saturday.  I love how sweet all three boys look.  They LOVE playing together and it so fun to watch them.

We did take the kids to several games this year and they were as good as a one year and two year old can be.  At the beginning of the season, Kaylee was great because she wasn't walking.  The last two games were very tough trying to keep her happy.  She wanted to walk and not sit still.  I got smart and took blocks to the last two games.  Probably the best.idea.ever.  We did beat Navy which was exciting.
Troy loves to go to football games and to watch football games on tv.  You can ask him where he wants to go and he'll say "ballball game".  You can also ask him who he's cheering for and he'll say "ME!"  I haven't gotten that part on video yet though.  He also loves to cheer during the Trojan fight song and will yell, "GO, GO, GO!" and "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!"

At the end of the season, Brian did get his boys trip and went to watch us almost beat Middle Tennessee State.   Needess the say, our season record was not very good.  But we are true Trojans fans through and through.

  1. Too bad they didn't play Auburn. That would have definitely been a win. :)
