Beach trip

We had an amazing time at the beach.  Jaime's family was able to spend a couple of days with us and Brian's mom spent the entire week with us.  I'm not sure I've ever been to the beach for ENTIRE week, so I thought it was especially fun.  Vacations are not relaxing anymore with two little ones, but Brian and Grandma did let me have a couple of afternoons of alone time on the beach, and that was amazing.

We had a blow up mattress for the kids.  We thought Daniel, Andrew and Troy would sleep there.  Daniel didn't last long, and as you can see Troy and Andrew slept soundly.  It's a good thing that Andrew likes to cuddle too, because Troy was all over him.

Troy followed Andrew all the time and mimicked everything he did.  If Andrew had on a red shirt, Troy wanted a red shirt.  If Andrew had something to eat, Troy wanted something to eat.  We went to dinner one night and were walking down the street.  Everytime Andrew moved his arm, Troy copied him. Andrew caught on and started doing silly stuff and Troy followed him exactly.  Andrew was so patient with Troy the entire trip.

We normally spent the mornings at the beach and the afternoons at the pool.  It took a little bit to get the kids into the ocean, but they both wound up really liking it.  The first afternoon, Chad took Troy in the ocean to "ride" the waves and Troy loved it.

The second night there, we went to a place called Barefoot on the Beach.  It had a playground and the kids were able to play while we waited for our food. They had this big red chair right outside the restaurant.
