We have had an extremely cold winter, it has even snowed several times, but we were never lucky enough to get some that stuck. We were even out of school one day for a "snow day" and all we had where we live was ice. Places less than 30 - 45 minutes north of us were out of school for almost a week because of snow and ice. We had a couple of late delays because of ice, but we never got to see snow on the ground.
Finally, we got a little bit of snow that stuck. Unfortunately, we had to go to school at normal time, so we didn't get to "play" in it.
